Globalization Lecture Series
The Globalization Lecture Series (GLS) features international experts who share their insights on pertinent issues that bear on competitiveness.
The GLS aims to bridge the information gap on global and local issues affecting country, region, city and industry. The lecture series features international and local experts with studies and insights on globalization and global competitiveness. It engages target audiences in strategic conversations and multi-stakeholder dialogues for prospective policy development and strategic engagements.
Since its launching in the year 2000, the GLS has become a key tool for the Center to bring together the leading experts and practitioners in the field, with their respective points of view and experiences on an issue, facilitating strategic conversations among them, and putting together a significant and reliable body of research, study, and recorded insights, available and accessible to students, practitioners and policy-makers.
Through the years, the GLS has ceased being a mere lecture series, and has instead transformed into a series of conversations that allow for the exchange of ideas, bringing forth solutions to existing problems and opening opportunities for working together in addressing new challenges.
